Scandinavian Harp Course offers teaching at a high level for advanced students (over 18 years). Here, students receive individual lessons with focus on both solo and orchestral repertoire as well as teaching in Alexander technique. The course includes orchestra training and a mock audition. It is also possible to choose music theory (MITOP) as an elective course.

  • Possibility for playing in smaller or larger harp ensembles

  • Performance at a course concert (provided correct registration for the concert has been completed within the stated deadline after completion of admission)
  • Performance at the final course concert with participants from the same course.

  • Free access to selected festival concerts, as well as all course concerts

Criterias

  • Processing of application requires application fee to be paid in advance (NOK 300) 
  • Course participation requires the course fee to be paid in full ahead of course period 
  • Applicants must submit a recording of a self-selected piece, 3-5 minutes. Link to the recording must be included in the application form.
