Vebjørn Anvik is an active pianist and a renowned chamber musician, and as a permanent member of the Grieg Trio has a long list of tours, awards and CD recordings behind him.
As an accompanist and teacher of chamber music at NMH and as a chamber music teacher at Young Talents Barratt Due, he has long and broad experience with chamber music and interaction. This experience comes in handy when the pianists at the National Piano Initiative and the strings from SIS (Summer Symphony's International String Academy) will have interaction in chamber groups as a theme in this year's course.
