Violinist from Hamar, living in Gothenburg.

Former concertmaster of the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, the Gothenburg Symphony and the Gothenburg Opera.

Member of Gageego, ensemble for new music and of Odin ensemble, which specializes in performance practice around 1920.

Lecturer in violin and chamber music at Gothenburg University.

Øyvor is one of the original members of the Vertavo Quartet and with it she has toured all over the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Musikverein in Vienna and Toppan Hall in Tokyo. The quartet's CD production contains works by Nielsen, Brahms, Udbye, Kjell Mørk Karlsen, Grieg, all of Bartok, Debussy, Beethoven and Mozart.


Øyvor Volle plays a Jean Baptiste Cerruti 1785, loaned by Dextra Musica.

Her other interests are yoga and books, and a dog called Sixten.
