Axel Borgqvist began playing the violin when he was around five years old. Since then he has won several prices in a various number of competitions. Amongst them are Öressundssolist and Stockholm International Music Competition.
Axel has participated in several masterclasses with famous violin teacher such as Maciej Rakowsky, Oliver Charlier and Stefan Barratt Due. He has also been a part of different talent development programs like Young talents in Oslo and National center for musical talents in Vänersborg.
