Yesterday we learned that our dear colleague, Kristoffer Dolatko, passed away Tuesday June 3rd.
Kristoffer was a longterm member of the faculty at Valdres Sommersymfoni and will be deeply missed.
Kristoffer was highly respected and dedicated violin teacher and a valued colleague. He lived and breathed for his students, the violin and the music, and in addition he had qualities as integrity, loyalty, kindness and honesty that made him such a close friend to many of us.
His students loved him and he always went the extra mile for them. We, his colleagues, will always remember and treasure him, and keep his spirit alive.
