The renowned pianist Daria van den Bercken has curated gems from the music literature into a recital program she calls "Human: nature - an imaginary suite". The pieces in the suite share the common theme of illuminating nature through music; from Rachmaninov's lilies to Rzewski's "Winnsboro Cotton Mill Blues", where one hears the industrial sounds of South Carolina. After a short intermission with coffee and cakes avalible for purchase, we will be treated to Brahm's beautiful trio in a minor.
