Louise Høyrup is an artist with strong roots in Valdres, who has grown up in Denmark, Norway, and England. Through her artistic work, she has explored a wide range of expressions.
From adventurous watercolors to existential acrylic paintings with biblical motifs, she has conveyed complex themes such as the relationship between the ephemeral and the eternal. After holding her first exhibition in her childhood home in 2023, she has ambitions for more exhibitions in Norway and Denmark, while also exploring new formats that engage the audience in a bodily experience of the fundamental conditions and realization of existence.
