Hedda Aadland began the Young Talents program at Barratt-Dues when she was 10 years old wth Tove Sinding-Larsen as her teacher. She gas studied with Ernst-Simon Glaser and is currently studying with Louisa Tuck. Hedda has been a soloist with the Barratt Due's Symphony Orchestra and with og Sinfonietta Innlandet. Hedda has also performed Schumann's cello concert with Kaunas Symphony Orchestra in Lithuania. Hedda has won a number of first prizes both as a soloist and chamber musician in Midgard, UMM, Sparre Olsen and Jugend Muzisiert amongst others. She has performed at chamber music festivals in Lofoten, Risør, Gloger, Halvorsen, Horten, Norsjø, Fjord Classics and in Trondheim. She has also performed in London, Wigmore Hall and in Rome at the Norwegian Embassy.

Hedda has been the principal cellist ath Ung Filharmoni for two years. She has participated at summer courses in Astona with Melissa Phelps, Bowdoin Festival in Maine with prof. Steve Doane, Valdres Sommersymfoni with Istvan Vardai, Troels Svane in Germany and Torleif Thedéen at the Voksenåsen Summer Academy.
