Henning Felde Haldorsen (b. 2011) comes from Bergen, and has been playing the violin since he was five. He attends Unge Talenter Vestland-Barratt-Due, where he studies with Per Gisle Haagenrud. He also travels regularly to Oslo for lessons with Alf Richard Kraggerud. Henning is a scholarship recipient at the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein.
Henning won the Midgard Prize in the fall of 2024, and in April 2025 he won first prize in the Young Musician – Tallinn 2025 violin competition. Henning has made a name for himself as a young violin talent with strong musical drive and personality. Over the past year, he has received scholarships from the Ånun Lund Rej Memorial Fund and the Eilif and Daughter Besse Gunstrøm Memorial Fund.
