For many, Audun Myrvold is a familiar name when it comes to historical walks in Valdres. Now, he's inviting the public to a unique version — this time in the heart of Fagernes.
On Saturday, June 28 at 10:30 AM, Myrvold will lead a city walk, drawing on decades of experience in sharing local history. But what exactly he plans to reveal this time remains a surprise.
– I always tailor the content to the group that shows up, says Myrvold. – If there are many children, we might spend more time in the park area near the playground. But even that’s not guaranteed.
What he does promise is a look into Fagernes' 150-year-long history — despite the town officially gaining city status as recently as 2007. He will also highlight hidden cultural landmarks and take a closer look at the street art that adds character to the town’s streetscape.
