Sytske Pas is a Norwegian horn player.
After eight years in the “Young Talents” department at the Barratt Due Music Institute in Oslo (as a student of Prof. Frøydis Ree Wekre and Rune Brodahl), she began her bachelor's degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg with Prof. Szabolcs Zempleni in 2021.
Sytske is currently completing her bachelor's degree at the Universität der Künste Berlin, also under Prof. Zempleni. Over the years, she has distinguished herself both as a soloist and orchestral musician. Among other achievements, she won third prize at the renowned Leos Janacek International Music Competition in Brno in 2021 and was a finalist in NRK's Virtuos competition in 2022. She is also currently employed on a temporary contract with the Anhaltische Philharmonie Dessau (Germany) and has been an academician at the Lucerne Festival in Switzerland for the past two years in a row.
