Helge Lilletvedt is from Bergen and studied piano with Jiri Hlinka at the Bergen Music Conservatory, now the Grieg Academy, where he has been an assistant professor in recent years. In addition to being a pianist, Helge is often used as an arranger.
He has played with a number of performers such as Göran Fristorp, Vamp, Danish Anne Dorte Michelsen, and Terje Rypdal. He has had a long-standing musical collaboration with Herborg Kråkevik, dating back to the late 1990s. Helge played piano and arranged several songs on Herborg's recordings “Kråkeviks songbok” and “Eg og Edit.”
Today, Helge is the musical director at Den Nationale Scene in Bergen.
