Hanne Marit Mordal Iversen completed her master's degree at the Norwegian Academy of Music under Ann-Helen Moen in 2024. She sings with the Norwegian Soloists' Choir and performs regularly as a soloist and ensemble singer in Europe.
In April 2023, she was one of five finalists in "De unges konsert" with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra sponsored by the Grieg Foundation. In October 2023, pianist Revaz Abramia and Hanne Marit won "Prix de Lied" in the Concours international de chant-piano Nadia et Lili Boulanger.

In April 2025, the duo won first prize in the Sibelius Singing Competition in Järvenpää. They recorded their first CD with music by Norwegian composer Ragnar Söderlind in October, which will be released in the autumn of 2026.
Hanne Marit also won gold in the first edition of the South Korean TV singing competition K-Gagok Superstar last year.

In the coming months she looks forward to more performances such as Couperin's Lecon Tenebres and a CD release tour in the Netherlands with Margaretha Consort, concerts as a soloist with, among others, Meraki Chamber Choir, Domkantoriet in Molde and Nittedal Bygdekor, more concerts with the Norwegian Soloists' Choir and recitals with Revaz Abramia at Baroniet Rosendal, Klangfestivalen in Vågøy, the Castel Artes festival in Mirepoix and of course Valdres Sommersymfoni.
