Mezzo-soprano Frøydis Fegran Kopperud from Trondheim has a master's degree in classical singing from the Norwegian Academy of Music, where she studied under Randi Stene, Mona Julsrud, and Ann-Helen Moen.
In recent years, she has worked as a soloist both in Norway and abroad, including in Handel's Messiah with Hamar Cathedral Choir, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with Ponte Singers & Orchestra in Hong Kong, and St. John Passion by J. S. Bach with Nidaros Cathedral Choir and Oslo415.
She has performed at some of Norway's largest chamber music festivals, such as the Norsjø Chamber Music Festival, the Ultima Festival, and Oslo Early. She is also a sought-after ensemble singer.
She regularly performs with ensembles such as Vox Nidarosiensis, Bragernes Solistensemble, and JSB-ensemble, and is a permanent member of Det Norske Solistkor, Margaretakyrkans vokalensemble, Barokkanernes vokalensemble, and Frolic Quintet.
