Frida Gandía Jensen (b. 2011) began playing the violin at the age of four with her mother, Ingrid Jensen. Since the fall of 2025, she has been a student at “Unge Talenter Barrat Due” and “Musikk på Majorstuen,” with Alf Richard Kraggerud as her teacher.
She has won prizes in several competitions, including first prize in the Midgard Competition (2025), first prize in the Concurso de Corda Cidade de Vigo (2025), and first prize in the Concurso Sant Anastasi (2025).
She made her debut as a soloist at the age of nine with an orchestra in Málaga (Spain). In the field of chamber music, she has been selected for five consecutive years to participate in the Talent Program at the Málaga Clásica festival.
Frida is a scholarship holder at the Music Academy in Liechtenstein with Prof. Latica Honda and a student at the Barenboim-Said Academy under the guidance of Michael Barenboim and Mohamed Hiber.
