Bjørg is 18 years old and is currently a student of Prf. Stephan Barratt Due. She also received lessons with
Dr. Robin Wilson regularily. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras like the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, and she was a finalist in the TV competition Virtuos. 

Bjørg grew up in i Trysil/Elverum in a musical family. She began her violin lessons with Ting zu Chen at Barratt Due as a 5-year old. She has been a part of the program "Young Talents" at Barratt Due since she was 8 years old. 

In 2017 Bjørg performed as a soloist with Ragnhild Hemsing at the Hemsing festival. Later that same year she was the finalist in the international competition Young Musicians in Estionia. She won the 1st price, and also two awards for best performance of a contemporary piece.

Bjørg has studied with renowned teachers such as Cyrus Beroukhim, Gregory Fulkerson and Dora Schwarzberg. In 2020 she was a soloist with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra for the fist time, in a concert series called  Klangen for Klima (the Sound for the Climate). In april 2022 she was a soloist with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra in the competition Virtuos with the Korngold violin concerto. 

Bjørg is a passionate chamber and orchestra musician and a composer! She is a member of the Sostenuto String Quartet. She has also composed for chamber groups and orchestras like the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra. She is currently a composer and soloist in the cello ensemble Absolutt Cello.

Bjørg has won a number of 1st prices in both national and international competitions, such as Ungdommens Musikkmesterskap and The Cooper International Violin Competition i USA.

She plays on a G.B Guadagnini 1773 Il Torino violin, lent to her by ASAF.
