Selma Ringdal comes from Oslo. She began playing the French horn when she was 8 years old in a local children and youth orchestra. She began studying at Barratt-Due with Frøydis Ree Wekre at the age of 13. Since 2918 she has studied with Rune Brodahl, Maxim Semenov and Martin Schöpfer.
She is currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik «Hanns Eisler» in Berlin, with Prof. Sibylle Mahni.
The last years Selma has participated in several competitions such as Ungdommens Musikkmesterskap, Nordstrand Musikkonkurranse and Virtuos 2020.
